Sights of Adjara
one of the largest botanical gardens, is located on the area of 113
hectares in 9 km from Batumi ����� Cape Verde. I was one of the largest
botanical gardens of the USSR.
The Batumi botanical garden was based by the Russian botanist and the geographer Andrey Nikolaevich Krasnov, in 1880 and officially was open on November 3, 1912. The main task of a garden Krasnov read acclimatization hozyaystvenno valuable subtropical plants.
It is Makhuntseti's falls (height - 20 meters) - a pearl of mountain Adzharia.

Arch Bridges
In
Adzharia from road constructions, it is necessary to mark ancient arch
bridges which well remained and reached up to now. They represent group
of monuments of the material culture of the XI-XIII centuries. In
Adzharia they meet on trade ways passing through Kintrisha,
Adzharistskhali's rivers, Chorokhi and on Machakhlistskhali's her
influx. Bridges of this kind also meet in the territories of border
regions of Adzharia — Shavshet-Imerkhevi and in historical
Tao-Klardzheti.
Pyotr's fortress
The
Byzantine fortress, which well remained ruins are in the territory of
the village of Tsikhisdziri of Kobuletsky municipality.
According to Prokopy Kesariysky, Pyotr's fortress in Lazike existing before "the insignificant settlement" at Pontus Evksinsky was based on a place by the emperor Yustiniann I.

Gonio's fortress
there
were the Roman outpost in Adzharia, on the bank of the Black Sea, 15 km
to the South from Batumi, in the river Chorokhi mouth. The village is
in 5 kilometers to the North from the Turkish boundary.
The first mentioning of fortress belongs Pliniya Mladshema (the I century AD). In the II century of our era it there was well hardened Roman city in Colchis. Later I fell under influence of Byzantium. The name "Gonio" is for the first time mentioned in the message of the trapezundsky historian Mikhail Panaret in the XIV century.

Skhalt's monastery
It
is located in the Huloysky region, in a valley of the river of
Skhaltistskhali. In a complex enter: the small church saved up to now
in the form of ruins which was allegedly constructed between the X-XI
centuries. Here to be church of the Blessed Virgin of the XIII century,
a wine cellar and a stone fencing. Its exponentation attribute a name
of the queen Tamara.
Green Lake

green lake is in Hulo, without reaching to Beshumi in 12 km from a
saddle-point of Goderdzi. Height from a sea level of 2133 m

National park Mtirala
Mtiral's
national park is located in the western part of Adzharo-Imeretinsky
ridge, on the area of 15806 hectares. This wet place in Georgia (height
above sea level – 1381 m). For this reason the territory is
called Mtirala – "crying". Mtiral's national park is and now a
place of saving many animal species and plants of ancient Colchis,
including the most rare, relic and being on the verge of disappearance.
Only on preliminary researches in the territory of park 95 types of
fauna, among which mammals, birds, reptiles, fishes and amphibians are
provided. From them 23 look is entered in the Red book: lynx, brown
bear, Caucasian squirrel, Caucasian salamander, Caucasian viper,
southern big-nosed and European bats, huge hawk, butterflies (Apollo
and Caucasian zerintiya) and others. At center for visitors there are 8
places for a lodging for the night and kitchen. There is one more
option for spending the night – a tent in 8 kilometers from visit
center. The park offers services of guides, the organization of picnics
and a camping, and also horse walks.

Queen Tamara Bridge
Arch
bridges of Adzharia (Georgia) connect to activities of the Georgian
queen Tamara, on her specifying them started erecting. Time of building
of these objects carry to two periods of the IV-VI centuries AD and the
VII-VII centuries AD. Horizontal length of the bridge makes 19,5 m,
length of foot part of the bridge — 28,7 m, arch height over
water makes 5,6 m, and its general height — 6,3 m.
