Mikhail Hergiani's museum 
Mikhail
Vissarionovich Hergiani (on March 20, 1935, Mestia, Georgia —
on
July 4, 1969, Sualto's plateau, Italy, when climbing) — the
Soviet athlete-climber, a legend of the Soviet mountaineering, the
7-fold champion of the USSR, the Honoured Master of Sports of the USSR,
the gentleman of the award "Honour Sign" for outstanding sporting
achievements.
Mestia 
Ushguli 
Being
located at the height of 2200 m above sea level, Ushguli's village is
considered the most mountain constant settlement in Europe, after the
village the Kurus (2560 m above sea level). Is on Shkhara's southern
slope, one of the highest mountains of Greater Caucasus, in riverheads
of Inguri.

Patched (ლატალი) is the first community of the so-called Free (Free Svanetiya) if to go from Haisha.Patched is on merge of two rivers of Inguri and Mulkhur's small small river. From South side there is a Glacier and a saddle-point Laila. From some points the good view of peak of Ushba which is to the North from a community opens. From here two of its peaks are visible directly.
Patched is in 9 kilometers from Mestiya to the west, at the height of 1 300 - 1 500 m.

Temple of Transformation of the Savior
It consists of 2 levels constructed at different times. The first level which completely went today to the earth - basilicas of the great martyr Varvara, the dated IX century.
Walls of a tiny basilica are covered with frescos of the XII century, but from under this layer fragments of surprisingly well remained older list of the IX century are visible.
The second floor of a cathedral was attached only four centuries later after the first. Except frescos in a cathedral there is also one more treasure: Christ Redeemer's stamping golden and silver icon of the XIII century.
