The resort of Borjomi is located in southeast part of Georgia, in the gorge of the river of the Chicken, at the height of 810 — 850 m above sea level. Borjomi treats group of low-mountain resorts and is surrounded with the massif covered with the coniferous and broad-leaved forests. The climate differs moderate temperature both in summer, and in winter the periods.

Borjomi is known for the medicinal mineral water which is applied as drinking at diseases of a gastrointestinal path, bilious ways, metabolism, kidneys and in the form of bathtubs — at cardiovascular diseases, diseases of nervous system and respiratory bodies. Archeological excavations here found out stone bathtubs that testifies that curative properties of mineral water were known and were used in ancient times.

In the Borzhomsky gorge over 200 historical monuments: fortresses, churches, monasteries. The special place among historical monuments is taken by the palace of the Russian tsars Romanov, constructed at the end of the XVIII century.

Properties
Borjomi — natural mineral gidrokarbonatno-sodium water, with a natural mineralization, is used for prevention and treatment of the diseases connected with digestive system, a metabolism, used and as table water. Nevertheless, its systematic use (as well as any other mineralized sparkling water) has some contraindications.

"Borjomi" get from 9 operational wells from 200 to 1500 m in depth in the territory of the Borzhomsky reserve, at a temperature of 38 — 40 °C natural to thermal water. The mineral players of "Borjomi" weren't changed since 1830, from the moment of the beginning of continuous laboratory supervision.
